This is a network hub for artists and businesses alike, that would like to pursue spreading their interests in a worldwide market through our marketing prowess and targeting expertise. If you or someone you know is serious about their craft in music or business, we have the services that will ultimately place you and/or your product in a direct market while expanding your reach to countless others worldwide. We started out in novice mode, using tools that were available. There is no silver spoon and we thrive purely off creativity and talent. WKIR 99 Radio has a talent radar that’s well seasoned and have always been surrounded by those that are talented. It is our pleasure to provide a service through our outlet(s) of broadcasting across the digital airwaves that, as we all know, reach far more people and places than FM. We are doing the work so you can easily cruise through the process of notability and airplay spins. We have supported independent artists since day one and ask only that you (Artists/Businesses) spread the word to your constituency that they recognize all the medias in which your song, music, poetry, DJ mix, Commercial Ad, PSA, is being aired and more frequently than with FM or commercial radio.
Our slogan says, “WKIR 99.9 … We Keep It Raw 99.9 percent of the time. Nobody’s perfect, but we’re the closest!” Which is to say, We give you that good #AllSchoolMusic, a phrase coined by the Mystic Maestro, indie artists’ music gems that are cherry picked and discussions on topics that effect your community and the world on our live shows.
Since officially starting in 2016, we went from the garage, to downtown Atlanta, to a private studio with mobile capabilities with live on-air show broadcasts. Using time, talent and creativity, one of our goals is to bring you the unheard and unseen before they are seen and heard and start an artists’ career. To add visibility and value to a small business that does not have the major commercial radio station budget. There is way more history and thought behind the concept of all that is WKIR 99 Radio, but we guess you’ll have to wait for the biopic, the book, the documentary.
