Soooo… let me be honest for a minute.
When I first started building in the online and network marketing space, I thought I had to lead with the product.
The plan.
The opportunity.
The compensation.
The results.
The company.
The “why you need this” speech.
And I’m sure some people were looking at me like, “Ma’am, I did not ask for all of that.” 😄
But over time, I learned something that changed everything.
Frank Bettger said it best:
“Find out what they want. Then help them get it.”
That’s it.
Not pressure.
Not chasing.
Not convincing.
Just listening.
Ask better questions.
Pay attention.
Understand what people actually need.
Understand their season.
Understand their problem.
Then, if what you offer can help, share it.
And if it can’t, be honest about that too.
Because real business is not about forcing people to see your opportunity.
It’s about serving people with integrity.
I used to think sales was all about talking.
Now I know it starts with listening.
People don’t want to feel sold to.
They want to feel heard.
They want to feel understood.
They want to feel like you actually care.
And that changes everything.
When you stop pitching and start listening, people can feel the difference.
And if you think, “I could never do sales,” let me encourage you.
If you can listen…
If you can care…
If you can ask good questions…
If you can be honest…
You’re already closer than you think.
Because the best builders aren’t always the loudest.
They’re the ones who listen first.
If this spoke to you, comment LISTEN or message me.
