The government must use its contingency fund, however, that would only help a reported 60%. Some states have expressed using state funds while the government is shut down to cover costs, but they may not receive reimbursement when the government opens up again. 37% of SNAP benefits go to WHITE AMERICANS the highest receivers of this assistance, with Afrikan Americans coming in at only 26% percent.

Sonya Massey's killer, thanks to a jury, was found guilty of second degree murder. Sonya, who called the police after believing she may have a prowler, called for help, Sean Grayson showed up, and instead of helping her killed her. Massey, who turned a burner off on her stove and picked up a pot of boiling water to bring it to the sink should not have been her end, but Sean thought otherwise. Justice For Sonya! ✊🏾

Hurricane Melissa took landfall in Cuba Wednesday morning at a category 3, whereas Jamaica experienced a category 5. Prayers for Cuba, as assessments of the true damage of Jamaica takes place Wednesday, Cuba begins to experience Hurricane Melissa. 🙏🏾
