Everybody loves to paint a pretty picture of following God and getting blessed overnight, but that’s not the reality.
Following God is hard because He’ll challenge your comfort, your understanding, and the way you’ve always done things. He’ll ask you to die to yourself so He can make you into who He’s called you to be.
For years, God tugged at my heart to lay down my business, but I wouldn’t let it go. I had built an identity around it and created a life I never had growing up. Then I finally surrendered… and God turned my world upside down. 🙃
I found myself starting over, but little by little, God rebuilt my life. Not only did He bless me, but He elevated my husband too. Today, I’m a stay-at-home mom earning what I once worked long hours to make.
And if I’m being honest, every month wasn’t easy. Some months were over $10K, others weren’t. But one thing I learned is this:
God works in seed form. 🌱
Every prayer, every act of obedience, and every sacrifice is a seed. Keep sowing because in God’s timing, the harvest will come.
