If Looks Could Kill (1991) is another movie that hovers in that twilight time between 2 decades. One might even say it's a double agent. It straddles 80s smouldering kewl dude attitude with burgeoning 90s slacker self-awareness.

As far as Bonding agents go, it didn’t just stick to the ol' formula, co-writer Fred Decker et al created a deft satire of 007ish tropes that, like True Lies a couple years later, helped fill a gap in the early 90s when James was in absentia and struggling for relevance.

It still looks good for its age and rightly belongs on the "Teen Agent" shelf with Never Too Young to Die and The Double O Kid. -Pop
