Red carpet moments of the team part 2
Starting off with our men in black: the head of the lighting department, Darryl Christmas (L), is our Gaffer who kept the lighting beautiful and cinematic, crewing up and running his department across every location. Darryl is also the owner of Production+ and provided grip and lighting gear for the series.
On the right is Quinton Thomas, our Key Grip, who ran the grip department across two dozen locations, rigging and shaping every scene while keeping us safe on set.
And in the center is our Director/Producer Alahna Lark, owner of Lark Media, who led every department toward a shared understanding of the project’s cinematic world, and steered the project from development to final delivery.

Next up is our Colorist, Travis Sawyer (left, photographed with his wife Viviana Chavez).
Travis’s work on color set the tone for the entire series, bringing a richness and mood to every frame that elevated the whole project. He’s also a fantastic camera operator, and when we needed him, he stepped in to DP an important shoot day for us with enthusiasm.

Amelia Elola (pictured with Alahna Lark), Production Designer for key interviews. Her work included sourcing furniture to fit the historical buildings we filmed in, making it feel lived in instead of borrowed and ensuring it all translated beautifully on camera.

Brooklyn Lowe, Set Dresser for key interviews (including that of Dr. Bernice A King). She brought a sharp eye for detail, styling each room down to the smallest touch so every frame felt intentional and true to the era we were capturing.
