Bishop Darlingston Johnson shares Very important revelation regarding prayer. Meditate upon this. Do not assume you already know from.
Instead of trying to believe Jesus to supply a need, why not start rejoicing Jesus is Himself the supply of that need?
Just like Jesus’s presence at the grave of Lazarus was the presence of the very resurrection Lazarus needed to overcome death (Lazarus did not need to believe for resurrection),
His presence in your life is the presence of the very joy, the strength, the healing, the provision—the very thing you are wanting from God.
He is the one and only all-sufficient answer God gives to every prayer request. He Himself is the thing, the answer to the prayer request.
You don’t need anything for life and godliness you do not already have in Jesus for which you still need to believe.
All the promises have been fulfilled in Christ. He fulfilled every promise in Jesus through the atonement.
Therefore, instead of trying to believe for them, believe that the sending of Jesus was God’s way of supplying every one of them to you. And He succeeded! All your needs have been supplied.
So, start declaring:
“Because The Lord is my Shepherd. I do not want, or lack for anything.”
“Through Jesus’s life in me, my God continually supplies all of my needs according to His riches in glory. Nothing missing, nothing lacking.”
“I seek first the Kingdom and to walk in the righteousness that comes by grace through faith in the sufficiency of Jesus Christ, and all things I need are simply added to me.
“I cast all my cares, worries and anxieties, once and for all, upon Jesus, and I live carefree, because He cares for me with deepest affection.”
Remember, the ONE to whom you pray is at the same time THE ANSWER to the very prayer you prayed.
