Bishop Darlingston Johnson is calling the Church to take a serious look at gossip, a sin that is often tolerated and normalized among believers.

While we readily confess sins such as sexual immorality, stealing, and lying, the question remains: When was the last time you confessed gossip?

Gossip may be overlooked by people, but it is never overlooked by God. The call is clear: Repent today and confess it to the Lord.

Bishop Darlingston Johnson shared an important reminder about gossip and the responsibility we have when sharing information about others.

According to Bishop Johnson, gossip is sharing someone’s private information with another person without permission or proper reason.

He encouraged everyone to pause before sharing information and ask yourself: Is it true?

Is it necessary for me to share? Is this the right person to share it with?

Can this person do anything to make the situation better, help, or solve the problem or am I simply sharing it for the sake of conversation?

He further encouraged us to consider whether we are actually responsible for sharing the information, or whether there is someone else who is in a better position to communicate it.

Before you share, ask yourself these questions. Not every piece of information needs to be passed on.

“Bishop, if I send someone a screenshot of a conversation with another person, is it still considered gossip?”

Bishop Johnson answered, “It is digital gossip,” because the information had not been verified.

This is an important reminder that gossip is not limited to spoken words—it can also happen through screenshots, messages, and social media when we share unverified information about others.

Computer Laboratory and CCTV Security System.

Bethel Foundation High School, one of our Harvest Schools, has unveiled a newly furnished computer laboratory equipped with high-speed computers to enhance students’ learning and technological skills.

The school, located in Sanniquellie, Nimba County, says the new computer laboratory demonstrates its commitment to providing quality education and preparing students for the demands of the modern world.

In addition to the new computer laboratory, CCTV cameras have been installed across the campus to strengthen security and monitoring, helping to create a safer and more secure learning environment for students, teachers, and staff.

The school administration expressed appreciation to parents and guardians for their continued support, trust, and partnership in the growth and development of the institution.
