Three percent of all creative directors are women, yet women spend 80% of the average household income. Women are consistently being marketed to by men who have very little experience of what is is actually like being a woman. Project Pencil Skirt is an effort for positive change to more accurately reflect the population, and get more women into those creative director roles and change the way women are portrayed in the media. I did these logo designs for an Atlanta institution. The Atlanta Flatiron building downtown is even older than the Flatiron in Manhattan and is considered to be Atlanta's first skyscraper. Right now it's going through a big remodel, and rebranding to help usher it into the 21st century. A call for simple logo design was given with less than a 48 hours to work within the deadline, and thus I created these three logos as possible contenders. [ 540 more words. ]

The new tulipcake website is up and running! Their new site was designed by Spoken Word Pictures with their brand identity in mind. Tulipcake is a custom embroidery business that also does doll repair and puppet making based in Atlanta.
