🎬✨ is back!

Organized and hosted by Professor Lyton Felix (), the series kicked off with Redd Claiborne ()— alum, Class of ’03 🙌🏽.

A professional cinematographer, gaffer, and lighting director, Redd didn’t just talk about the industry, he gave students hands-on, practical examples of how it’s really done. 🔥🎥

Huge thank you to Professor Felix for bringing this series back and to Redd for sharing real-world wisdom with the next generation of creatives.

Absolutely awesome birthday this year. And what better way to spend it than sharing knowledge! My team at CAU-TV and several alumni (of the Division of Communication Arts/MMA) led current scholars of CAU and brought back a tradition we had more than 20 years ago. We produced our first 'live' football game for the SIAC and will continue with additional sports through November.

We are looking for support to continue and expand this effort, so reach out or deposit funds to connect. https://secure.givelively.org/donate/clark-atlanta-university-inc/cau-tv

Thanks for all you do in my space.

A Broadcast Legend

Since CAU-TV’s inception in 1984, it has provided quality educational and informative programming to the Atlanta community. In 1991 CAUTV students were selected to work production elements at the Georgia Dome in hosting Super Bowl XXVIII. From 1993-1996, CAU-TV served as the Production Training Hub through which more than 2000 students were trained for employment as broadcasters for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. In 2013, CAU-TV began streaming on www.cautvonline.com

The station also operates a broadcast production training facility where students hone their production skills for transition into successful broadcasting careers across the US and around the world. Other cultural resources available to CAU-TV include Clark Atlanta University’s Robert Woodruff Library, sister station 91.9 WCLK-FM, CNN Center, Hammonds House, Wren’s Nest, the Herndon Home, Georgia Aquarium, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, the City’s Bureau of Cultural Affairs and the vast culturally diverse communities in the City of Atlanta.
