When The Music Stays l Short Film l BVD Productions l SnapShot Films

When the Music Stays follows Ben, a 17-year-old who uses dance as a private refuge from vulnerability. His world shifts when Lily quietly observes him dancing in a park to understand. As they grow closer through shared movement, Ben teaches Lily how to feel the music, while Lily unknowingly teaches Ben how to let someone in. When fear causes Ben to retreat behind emotional distance, he risks losing the one space that began to feel real. In the end, the roles reverse: Ben learns to stop hiding and simply watch as Lily dances freely, seen, trusted, and fully present.
