📖 Libraries are evolving, and so are the roles within them.
At the Georgia Tech Library, Raven Davis is helping redefine what an academic library can be: a place where books, data, instruction, and equity intersect. As the Library’s first research scientist in data analytics, Davis blends literature, data science, and teaching to expand access to tools, improve student outcomes, and support nontraditional paths into technical careers.
Her work reflects a larger shift in how libraries serve their communities—and that ethos extends beyond campus walls. Tech Square continues to support readers across the district, with the Traveling Library set to return next month, bringing books directly into shared community spaces.
