Midtown Atlanta’s culinary scene will take center stage this fall as Taste of Atlanta presents 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙞𝙙𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙣, an all-inclusive celebration of the restaurants, chefs, and sips that make Midtown one of the city’s most dynamic dining destinations. The event takes place Oct. 15, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Epicurean Atlanta, Autograph Collection - 1117 West Peachtree Street, bringing together more than 25 of the area’s top restaurants for one unforgettable evening both inside and outdoors.

Guests will savor signature dishes from Midtown’s most talked-about restaurants, discover exciting new dining destinations, enjoy beloved favorites and meet the talented chefs shaping Atlanta’s culinary scene – all included with one ticket. Taking over the ninth floor of the culinary-themed hotel, Grand Tasting Midtown will transform the hotel’s ballroom and sparkling pool area into an unforgettable culinary celebration, complete with a moonlit skyline view from the open-air greenspace and live music by The Happy Hour, an Atlanta-based trio known for putting a modern spin on rock and roll.

The Neighborhood Dining Group, the Charleston-based hospitality group behind some of the Southeast’s most celebrated restaurants, opens its newest concept, 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙮, on Meeting Street in the heart of downtown Charleston’s cultural district.

Led by Executive Chef Gabriel Lindsey, the seafood-driven menu is inspired by coastlines around the world, highlighting the finest seafood and ingredients from carefully selected purveyors.

The menu begins with an extensive raw bar and cold preparations and continues with playful takes on starters and salads, a build-your-own handroll experience, handmade pastas including Mussel Gemelli with merguez, soft herbs, white w**e and chile and Lobster Spaghetti, as well as seafood-forward entrées such as Ora King Salmon with teriyaki, herbs, lettuce wraps and rice, Miso Yellowtail with honeynut squash, chanterelles and brown butter.

A landmark moment for collegiate golf is set to arrive in 2027 with the launch of the NI Collegiate Invitational, a new international championship set to become the first Division I collegiate golf tournament held in Northern Ireland. Scheduled for September 5-9, 2027, at the Galgorm Golf Resort, the inaugural event will bring leading U.S. university golf programs together for a world-class competition in one of golf's most celebrated elite destinations.

The tournament is expected to feature up to 16 leading Division I men's golf programs competing in both team and individual championships as part of their regular-season Division I schedules. Organizers believe the event represents a significant step forward in the globalization of collegiate sports and could serve as a model for future international competitions.

The 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙑𝙞𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙡 is back for 2026, challenging travelers to explore the Mountain State’s legendary haunts, from abandoned amusement parks and spine-tingling tunnels to historic asylums, hotels and battlefields.

Part ghost hunt, part history tour and part statewide scavenger hunt, the trail spans the state, from ghost tours through Harpers Ferry and paranormal investigations at the West Virginia Penitentiary to the abandoned rides of Lake Shawnee Amusement Park.

New to the trail is Droop Mountain Battlefield State Park, the site of one of West Virginia’s most significant Civil War battles and, according to local accounts, lingering unexplained activity. It joins stops including Point Pleasant’s Mothman, the mysterious winged creature first reported near the town’s “TNT Area” in the 1960s, and the Flatwoods Monster, an otherworldly figure reportedly encountered after residents spotted a strange light in the sky.
The free, self-guided experience uses a digital passport that allows travelers to check in at each stop and earn prizes along the way.

Guests sailing on Holland America Line's Caribbean cruises this season will discover a refreshed RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, where a series of newly completed enhancements brings even more ways to relax, dine and enjoy the island.

Among the most notable additions are a new food pavilion serving an island-inspired barbecue menu, and an exclusive Beach Club experience, offering guests new ways to dine and unwind ashore. Additional enhancements include upgraded cabanas, refreshed clamshells and daybeds, renovated bars and eateries, and pickleball courts introduced last season.

Guests who purchase a day pass for the Beach Club, which will be available for booking in early October, will receive priority tendering from the ship to the island. The Beach Club will also feature dedicated waiter service, all-inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, included beach accessories, specialty food and beverage offerings, and other special surprise moments.

Outside of the Beach Club, a new food pavilion will offer a complimentary island-only menu of favorites, and existing bars and eateries are being renovated. Cabanas are being upgraded, and the beach area will offer more daybeds. Upgraded canopy loungers for two and additional beach chairs create more space to unwind, while four pickleball courts add another way for guests to enjoy time ashore.
