The MultiCultural Sci-fi Organization - MCSFO MCSFO – One Language, Sci-fi! ( )
To promote, discuss and educate in the medium of Sci- Building a Community of Sci-fi Creatives!

This organization, started out as a SF meetup group created by Amanda Ray. “I believe in supporting culturally diverse SF films that don’t fit the mold of the working definition of science fiction. To encourage rich story telling, with infinite possibilities that challenges us and questions our perception of the future.”

Our end goal is to grow this organization into the Multicultural Sci-fi Cen

ter! A place where we can foster these creative minds by providing necessary resources, having in depth discussions on speculative fiction, new technology and workshops for: writers, graphic novelists and musicians - in film scoring. The mission of our annual festival is to provide screens for the finest independent SF films and to strengthen the local SF film community by cultivating an engaged audience. Independent SF films are becoming less intimidating with today’s technology, creating a fertile ground for nurturing new talent and exploring concepts mainstream studios would never support.
