I’m going to say it LOUDER FOR THE PARENTS IN THE BACK!
🗣️ YOU CAN’T EXPECT THEM TO DO WELL WHILE YOU DO NOTHING! Right now, there is no existing world where fact fluency is not important! So, at this point STOP asking why they need to know and STOP saying what they’re learning isn’t useful, and simply LOCK IN!!! Oh and ignore the spacing in the title. I fought with it for about fifty eleven times and I was done!

Ya’ll have them at home on those tablets and TV all day and suddenly they return to school and you expect their diagnostics to reflect the same or better, but you have done no groundwork?!!! Parents, you have to do better. We have to do better!

Our field trip to Beat The Bomb Atlanta was one for the books! 

From the moment we walked in, the fun started. Students kicked things off with slime-making, then put their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to the test in the timed challenge rooms. After one final mission, it was time to suit up and face the moment everyone had been waiting for…

THE SLIME BLAST! 🤣

Safe to say this field trip was a SLIME-tastic success!

Our two guinea pigs have taught us so many lessons…responsibility, gentleness, patience, teamwork, and empathy through caring for them.
