Curly or straight, the Wavytalk Cool Curl Pencil does both.
I always start with a light mist of hairspray for extra hold and heat protection.
The slim barrel is perfect for creating defined ringlets on my pixie. Just clamp at the base, rotate, and glide away from the scalp. For fringe, clamp horizontally at the base, turn the iron vertically, and pull through.
I love how easily it lifts my roots, and the 360° airflow helps set the curl while keeping my fingers away from the heat.
With 5 heat settings, it works on everything from fine to coarse hair. If you have coarse hair, smooth first, then add your curls.
The slim barrel also makes it easy to straighten, smooth, or curl even my shortest layers right from the roots.
