Have you been to Baraonda Italian Restaurant on Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs? IYKYK! This is a local restaurant you have to know. You will find a cool vibe, gorgeous atmosphere, amazing menu, knowledgable staff, and valet or onsite garage parking. This time Greg and I sat at the bar which has a great energy and our bartender Calli enhanced our experience. This time we enjoyed the lambchops and the burrata with grilled peaches for apps and for our entrees the swordfish special and the carbonara. All of it was very delicious. This is a gem to know and love

This sweet lady, Kim Peterson, exudes elegance which is perfect because she has a boutique event business aptly named Cashmere Social. Her passion is for you to have intentional gatherings whether it is a smaller home celebration or a larger business event, she will put her elegant touch on every experience. I so enjoyed getting to know her and you should too!

GRAND OPENING

July 25, 2026. This is the much anticipated grand opening of Taste W**e Bar and Market in City Springs! What a wonderful day for Ben & Katie Ferris & their son Jude along with all the staff, friends, family, partners, Chamber & the City of Sandy Springs. This is an amazing addition to our and nearby communities for all happenings; happy hours, date nights, friend gatherings, mother-daughter moments, wedding parties, or a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. The selection of w**e is certain to please everyone and the food is sooo good. There are nightly specials and a private event room for you to enjoy. I hope to meet you there soon!

It's been waaaay too long for me to get my hair done since we arrived in Atlanta earlier this year. So, today I got it done right! I went to CJ Nicotera, owner of Balance Salon & Boutique in Park Place in Dunwoody. It is a gorgeous salon and CJ is a sweetheart and she knows your hair. We braved the heat 🥵 and watched our Braves play on Thursday. Greg and I, my daughter & son-in-law Cara & Austin were excited for 🧢 day. We love hanging out with these two!

The Farmers Market in Sandy Springs is amazing! It is a popular Saturday morning market at City Springs, featuring local farmers, artisans, and food vendors with fresh produce, baked goods, and specialty items, plus live music and a community atmosphere, running from April through November.

I had so much fun with my family this morning and we left with some delicious treats! It is a must go for any age... friends, dates, families & children.
You will find the vendors are eclectic with lots of great things to see, admire, buy, smell & eat!

After you enjoy the Farmers Market, stay a bit... play on the green, while away the time in a rocking chair, enjoy the amazing wall of fountains, listen to the live music and have lunch at one of the walkable local spots we have! What a great way to spend time together. See you there next Saturday!
