Traveled East this weekend to Fort Smith Arkansas for Black Rodeo USA and had a dance with a bad ass bronc called Pretty Boy(388) and I must say I had a blast.. When i saw the draw i knew it was gonna be a great night!!!
When the gate went bang, he stalled for a second or two but his 1st step was with some power and boyyyyyy we went to dancing... Danced the whole 8 seconds for 75.5 points all the way to the pay window with a 2nd/3rd place split!!

Men of Color Expo 2026 Barber Of The Year

I know that my uncle is watching down on me extremely proud of who I've become and my many accomplishments but especially this one because he taught me the way!!!! I am forever grateful for the knowledge he bestowed upon me and the opportunity to learn this craft of barbering and business under his wing each and every day before his passing. Im absolutely honored to keep the Hopkins legacy alive and even more honored and humbled to win this achievement..To be honored and recognized for something I'm so passionate about after 19 years in the game now is one of the greatest feelings in the world.. Its not a race its a marathon! You can slow down but dont ever give up!!!

Thank you to Perry Publishing and Broadcasting Oklahoma City for putting this amazing event together to recognize black excellence across our city and state!!
