💔 FORMER NFL STAR COMMITS SU***DE
It’s with deep sadness we share that former NFL running back Rudi Johnson has passed away at age 45.
Johnson reportedly died by su***de in Florida just after midnight on September 23, 2025. Authorities say there was no indication of foul play.
A family source noted that Johnson had been struggling with mental health issues and may have had complications related to CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy), a degenerative brain condition tied to repeated head trauma — though CTE can only be definitively diagnosed after death.
