After watching the ENTIRE viral Danish Deception story on TikTok, all I can say is: may I NEVER be this stupid in love. Ever.
For those who havenāt kept up, hereās the gist:
A lady, Onyeka, met this ārichā Danish man in Croatia. And when I say rich? Oh, he came prepared with the luxury starter pack, private villas, expensive trips, Monaco, St. Tropez, fine dining; you get the gist. He claimed he was wealthy, connected to Danish royalty, even said he was an Olympian. It was giving Cinderella, European edition.
Their romance moved FAST, meeting families, engagement, wedding, all happened in few months.
Then he started asking her to lend him money for ābusiness deals,ā ātax issues,ā āemergencies,ā you name it.
He ended up scamming not just her but family, friends and associates hundreds of thousands of dollars.
And hereās the part that pained me the most:
Even after she discovered he was a liar, an addict, and a full-time con artist, sis stayed because she was āin love.ā
She said she wanted to help him heal.
Wanted to ārehabilitate him.ā Afterall marriage is for better and worse.
When the man dumped her and ran, the veil covering her eyes finally lifted. She discovered that he was 100% worse than she thought.
She dropped a 25+ part TikTok series exposing the love-bombing, lies, manipulation, debts, humiliation⦠everything.
It took me about 4ā5 hours to watch the whole thing.
And once again: God forbid I ever lose my sense because of love.
P.S.
I do not rehabilitate men. I once dated a guy who swore he didnāt smoke⦠only to find out he was a heavy smoker and fully addicted. I vanished the next day.
He kept texting me, āIām quitting,ā āI love you,ā āIāll stop for you.ā
Oga, please. Whether you quit or not is none of my business. I am nobodyās rehab center. I am not helping anybody battle addiction they lied to me about.
Love is sweet, but it must not turn somebody into a mumu.
