📢 Choctaw Nation Announces One-Time Food Assistance Payment

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) is offering a Temporary Food Assistance Program to support tribal members whose SNAP benefits may be affected by a possible government shutdown.

Eligible members can receive a one-time $150 payment per approved SNAP recipient.

🗓️ Apply online through the Chahta Achvffa Member Portal between Nov. 3–14, 2025.

A multi‑county chase that began in Grayson County, Texas, and moved into Oklahoma was brought to a controlled stop on U.S. Highway 69 after a skilled officer executed a TVI (Tactical Vehicle Intervention) maneuver near the intersection of Highway 69 and Shady Lane.

The Another 48 Hours in Atoka Music Festival is happening TODAY (Saturday, Nov. 1) — and you won’t want to miss it!

Two stages • Music all day starting at noon
Food trucks & vendors
Court Street will be blocked off for a full day of fun and live entertainment
