The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to report that 16-year-old Layla Brogdon has been located safely.

We would like to thank the East Metro Area Crime Center and the FBI Violent Crime Task Force for their assistance in this case.

We are grateful for everyone who shared information and helped bring Layla home safely.

The Gray County Sheriff’s Office (TX) is asking for the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Nafertini Bybee, who was last seen on July 21, 2025, getting into a white Dodge Charger outside her home in Pampa, Texas.
• Name: Nafertini Bybee
• Age: 16
• Height: 5’3”
• Weight: 120 lbs
• Eyes: Hazel/Blue
• Race: Mixed

There is information that Nafertini has friends and family in Cherokee County. The family has asked to call 911 if you see her.

🚨 Missing Person Alert 🚨
Public Assistance Requested
For Immediate Release

The Attalla Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.

We are currently attempting to locate Christopher Wess Alan Minton II, age 30. He is described as approximately 5’9” tall, weighing around 175 lbs. Christopher was last seen on July 27, 2025, at approximately 10:30 AM, leaving his residence in the 900 block of Wood Avenue SE in Attalla. He was driving a red Chevrolet S10 pickup truck bearing Alabama tag 31C0MUW.

Christopher is believed to have been traveling to Dade County, Georgia to view a camper trailer. His vehicle was last captured by FLOCK cameras in the area of Wal-Mart in Springville, Alabama, around 11:40 AM on the same day. Based on current information, he may also be in the Oneonta area.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Christopher Wess Alan Minton II is urged to contact Attalla Police Department Dispatch at 256-538-7837.

BREAKING NEWS🚨 In Bibb County, Alabama, Authorities have arrested three additional suspects in connection with a disturbing child abuse case involving an underground bunker, bringing the total number of arrests to seven.

Authorities say some of the suspects were parents of the victims.
