“I was committed to Alabama under the table for like two weeks, my mom cried every night, so that played a big reason,” Dismukes said. “But at the end of the day it came down to playing time, I could go into Auburn, and I could play right away or at least have that chance.”

🏈 Introducing the second half of the Between the Tackles Podcast - Alex Kozan. Alex played for Auburn University from 2012 - 2016, starting 40 games at offensive guard for the Tigers. Kozan earned freshman All-American honors while helping the Tigers win the 2013 SEC title.

Kozan was named team captain in 2016 and earned All-SEC honors in addition to multiple academic honors. Kozan went on to join the Los Angeles Rams in 2017.

Alex now resides in Atlanta, Georgia where he works in finance.

🏈 Introducing one half of the Between the Tackles podcast - Reese Dismukes. Reese graduated from Auburn University in 2014, where he started at center in 50 games for the Tigers. While at Auburn he earned the prestigious Rimington Trophy, along with consensus All-American status.

Reese also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, and Denver Broncos. During his time with the Panthers, they were NFC Champions.

Reese currently resides in Mobile where he is an Account Executive with Palomar Insurance Corporation. He is also the Founder & President of The 50 Foundation, a non-profit organization for epilepsy awareness.
