I just want everyone to be aware of the business practices of AWI management in Auburn. They have a history of some dirty dealings when it comes to tenants. Their MO is to give out multiple write ups, valid or not, then they threaten a person with eviction if they dont move. Sadly AWI mainly deals with low income and senior rentals. They are bullies in every sense of the word. Valley Commons in Grass Valley currently has a property manager, Stacy Malone, whom most residents are afraid of to the point that they are unwilling to even speak up for themselves against her because she is vicious. Mrs. Malone gets into peoples faces, threatens to call the police with bogus allegations, lets herself into peoples apartments without notice, doles out false write ups like they are candy, and threatens people as if they are common criminals. Worse still, Mrs. Malone has effectively discriminated against several single mothers and put them out on the streets with their children.AWI backs Stacy Malone in her illegal and immoral treatment of the tenants. Stacy Malone and AWI have gotten away with this sort of treatment for far too long but nobody will stand up against them and help these tenants in order to not have to live in a constant state of hostility and anxiety, never knowing if you are going to have a home or not. It needs to stop. People need to be aware of whats going on here.
