Garrett's varsity boys and girls basketball teams defeated Lakeland in different ways in Friday's doubleheader. For the girls, it was their final tune-up before sectional play. For the boys, the win snapped a two-game losing skid and knocked Lakeland from the ranks of unbeaten in the Northeast Corner Conference.
