For the fifth year in a row, a Garrett Middle School team has won the cyberpatriot competition state championship. It's now off to national competition. A Garrett High School team has also qualified for nationals.

Garrett firefighters were dispatched to a house fire just after 1 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of East Covell Street. Crews from the Auburn and Corunna fire departments also responded to the scene. No other information was available at press time.
