Projecting the Image has been our thing from the beginning - of all kinds - in the 90s, we supported John Denver as he toured the Northeast US and Canadian Maritimes, with video projection playback of several tracks, as he would give his band a break and play and sing solo to the track. The most heartfelt of these was 'Flying for Me', in which he pays tribute to the space shuttle Challenger, that he had been a leading candidate to fly that mission on - mixed and co-produced by my friend Dan Hartnett

Digitizing old videos - some we made, some we found. This little gem came from Advent Video, found when it had gone bankrupt and we bought most of the remaining units on the production lines and the copy was left behind.

Engaging Images . . . in the over 40 years since we first focused our cameras and projected images for our clients, we've supported virtually every type of event imaginable. With literally 1000's of projection events and video productions for business, entertainment, religion and technology, the one constant value has been the goal of engaging audiences. In this picture by Eric Shambroom, used in a late-80's brochure, a local audience of All-Ireland hurling fans are cheering the game on a 16' screen showing the final match live from the Emerald Isle. Eric set his shot up from a 14' ladder right next to the screen and waited for a team to score. You might notice that not everyone is cheering, since both team's fans had to sit together to watch the match . . . you can't please all of 'em all the time, but you can get them all involved ...

The Brawler passed away yesterday at 96 yrs.; the Raging Bull was iconic of a culture we witnessed the last generation of, as providers of the video screens to all the arenas in New England for closed-circuit boxing events for 20 years, and also a stop of his promotional tour where we met the legend himself

I was amazed to learn about the state of stem cell research at our recent job producing the videos of the press conferences at the ISSCR convention. Charlatans selling bogus cures was an important subject in our recent job of producing videos of the ISSCR's world convention press conferences - While cures for Alzheimers, Parkinson's and blindness are well along in stem cell science, there are many fake therapies being promoted, which are now proliferating in the U.S., with over 500 clinics selling unproven medicine. https://youtu.be/XVCoLPOww9I

Old School ! This year marks our 45th year as a business, founded in 1972 to provide video production and event support. We began by combining independent video techniques with standard broadcast TV practices, at a time before video cassettes and frame-syncs existed. The evolution of video has been phenomenal, from the exclusivity of broadcasters to today's open access of tools and channels - we're proud to have a small part in the innovation of the art and science of it. Many thanks to each of the staff VV has had over the years, who have made the images and how they're viewed a better experience.
