It JUST hit me that this month officially makes ONE YEAR since I photographed my very first Stranger Session. 🥹📸

On August 17, 2025, I put two complete strangers — Ariel + Jamie — in front of my camera for the first time.

I thought I was trying a fun little photography idea.

I had NO idea what I had just started. 😂

That one session completely changed the trajectory of my page. Suddenly thousands of people were following along, getting invested in these strangers, rooting for connections and WAITING for the updates.

And somehow, seven months after putting my first two strangers together in Georgia, I ended up in TEXAS photographing one man meeting TWELVE women. 🤠😂

WHAT. A. RIDE.

So even though I apparently forgot my own anniversary by 8 days 😂, we’re celebrating anyway.

I went back through every Stranger Session and picked one photo from each. Under every photo, I’m giving you a little refresher on their story AND what happened afterward. 👀

Some continued talking. Some didn’t. Some stories definitely didn’t end the way y’all expected. 😂

If you were here when Ariel + Jamie started this whole thing… you’re officially an OG. 🥹❤️

Happy one year to the crazy little idea that changed my life.

Looking back at all of these has me thinking one thing though…

I kinda miss it. 👀 should I bring another stranger session back before the month ends?

Okay, it's been a while since I properly introduced myself, and this sunflower field felt like the perfect spot to do it, because if you know me, you know I'm drawn to anything golden, sunny, and a little wild, kind of like my life. 🌻

I'm Karolina! Mom to three, married to my favorite person, and the very tired but very happy leader of a house that includes four dogs, three geckos, and one cat who is absolutely in charge of all of us. Roscoe is my golden retriever who lives for posing in my Santa setups (dramatic, I know), Oakley is the baby of the bunch, an Australian Shepherd and my actual travel buddy, Levi is my dachshund who just wants to snuggle 24/7, and Stella is my Frenchie who is, without question, the bully of the house. 😂

I was born in Poland, grew up in Germany, and I've now been in the US for 26 years and still have an accent that gives me away every single time I open my mouth. I actually went to school for dentistry, if you can believe that, but after staying home with my daughter and taking her pictures constantly, I fell in love with every single part of capturing memories, and I never looked back.

Now I get to spend my days photographing maternity, motherhood, families, children, and pets, and honestly all of it fills my cup differently. I travel to Colorado a lot since my daughter lives there, and that state has my whole heart, but don't even get me started on how amazing beach sessions are too. 🏖️ Also, random fact, I will eat pretty much anything you put in front of me... except peanut butter. Don't ask, I just can't. 🥜🚫

What I care about more than anything is giving my clients not just amazing photos, but an amazing experience, because I want you to look at those pictures on your wall years from now and remember the fun day you had, not just how you looked.

There’s just something timeless about a black & white photo. 🥹🤍 And this sweet little face made it even more perfect. The kind of photo you’ll look back on one day and wonder how they were ever this little. 🥹

Seven years. Seven years of chasing Brittany and her son Malcolm into a sunflower field every single summer (minus one year I was out of town and missed it) — and this year we almost let Colorado ruin the streak. 😩 Because apparently while we were off gallivanting in the mountains, Georgia's sunflowers decided to peak without us, and we came home convinced we'd already missed the season entirely. Malcolm was not thrilled.

Then Saturday evening, completely by accident, I stumbled onto a field a little farther out than our usual spot. Brittany worked her magic getting us permission, and yesterday evening we were finally standing in it — and the sky just... showed off. Like, full-on fire, best-sunset-of-the-year kind of showing off. 🔥🌻

Standing in those big beautiful blooms with the light doing that, I remembered how much I genuinely miss shooting in flower fields — there's just nothing else like it.

Before losing my pages and having to completely start over online… y’all voted Brittany Sterling Photography into the TOP 3 for Cyber City’s Best!!!!!

Getting this message today honestly hit me harder than expected. Because for a while, losing everything online made me feel like years of hard work disappeared too. But this reminded me that the connections, memories, weddings, sessions, and support were always bigger than a social media page. 🥹

So thank y’all. Truly. Whether you’ve booked me, shared my work, supported my crazy ideas, followed along for years, or simply believed in me from a distance… thank you for helping me build something people remembered.

Now we rebuild bigger. Let’s gooooo. 🤍

Well… here we go again 🥹
I have officially made a brand new page while I work through everything happening with my old accounts. This transition has honestly been overwhelming, emotional, and stressful, but photography is still my passion and I’m not giving up on what I’ve built over the years.

If you’ve supported me, booked with me, shared my work, followed my crazy adventures, Stranger Storylines, weddings, travels, late night edits, all of it… I would truly appreciate you following along on my new page while I rebuild from the ground up. 🤍

Please go follow, like, share, invite your friends- anything helps more than you know right now. This little community means the world to me, and I’m determined to come back even stronger.

If I could access the messages, and be able to reply to comments on this page I wouldnt have made a new page, but unfortunately I cannot… sooo that’s why there’s a new one! This page though, will still be here and all of my old stuff will stay (until Facebook deletes it I guess)

New beginnings are scary… but maybe this is the start of something even bigger. ✨TRUSTING GOD! 🙏🏻
