Update!

New development in Buster Murdaugh’s defamation lawsuit.

🗓️ A hearing is scheduled for July 31 in Richland County, South Carolina, on journalist Michael M. DeWitt Jr.’s motion to dismiss the defamation claims against him.

If the court grants the motion, the case would return to federal court, leaving Netflix and Cinemart as the remaining defendants.

We’ll be following the hearing and providing a breakdown of the legal arguments, what happens in court, and what the judge’s ruling could mean for the future of the case. Stay tuned.
