**Melissa is no threat to the United States

A very chilling image from the Caribbean Sea as Hurricane Melissa is an extremely strong Category 5 hurricane set to make direct impacts to Jamaica and Cuba over the next 48 hours.

Melissa is about as strong of a hurricane as you can find in the Atlantic. The turbulence in the storm is so strong, even the The NOAA Hurricane Hunters had to leave their mission early.
