DJ Codec: Biography

Augusta's DJ Codec has been sharing his musical style with crowds since 2007. He can be found dabbling in just about every musical style. He specifically focuses on music that has been under-served by modern FM radio, constantly striving to expose the listener to something new. His passion for the obscure can be seen in the varied gigs he is drawn to, from ambient shoe-gaze mixes for art events, to guilty 80’s shock rock and synth-laden new wave; from electro-swing and steampunk masquerades, to the throbbing bass of the terror-EBM and synth-pop club events that he regularly organizes.

2007 - 2009, Augusta, Ga. : Resident DJ and organizer of the monthly Oblivion New-Wave 80's event

2014 - Present, Augusta, Ga. : Music Director / DJ for Dr. Sketchy's monthly live drawing art event.
