Requirements
- Based in/near Augusta, GA
- Hands-on experience with editing software, including Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premier.
- Previous work experience as a video editor or videographer
- Proficiency with camera equipment
- Ability to work on a tight schedule
- Ability to translate ideas into complete projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Monday Project Manager to track progress
- Weekly Meeting
Responsibilities
- Working with a Creative Director or collaborative team to create the film or video product
- Film videos on set or on location
- Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired
- Setting up and tearing down cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
- Troubleshoots problems with the equipment
- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Create rough and final cuts
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
