Good morning and happy Monday! Today we have a very important discussion with about human trafficking, law enforcement and victim advocacy. Our guests this morning are Kane County State's Attorney's Office Jamie Mosser, Greg Spayth (Investigator, SAO Human Exploitation Unit) and Colleen Murphy, founder of My Body Tells the Truth. The purpose of this morning's program is to highlight law enforcement efforts in Kane County, specifically combatting Human Trafficking.

In addition, our panel will also discuss results, the role of social media in trafficking and ways for victims to receive support. Also, we will preview the upcoming Human Trafficking Summit at Aurora University on Friday, November 21st. The event will take place from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm and will explore prevention, intervention and resources.

Each day we will discuss current initiatives in the City of Aurora and let our listener’s know what’s going on. From education and the arts to history and restaurants; we keep our listener’s informed!

This podcast was created with two unwavering goals: the first is Social Justice. Our team is made of individuals fully engaged in community service. We will always speak on issues of social justice as they are near and dear to our hearts. Our second goal is ‘serving the under-served’, those who can’t help themselves. The current covid19 crisis has shown that many sections of our population are extremely vulnerable. We will speak up for our veterans, our seniors and those who need advocacy.

We do interviews daily & speak directly to those on the move and doing positive things in Aurora. There’s much to come in the future as we showcase our beloved city. Tune in and take part in the discussion!
