Colorado's Finest Professional Polynesian Dance and Entertainment Group- Kalama Polynesian Dancers (dances from the islands of Hawai’i, New Zealand, Samoa, and Tahiti). We offer many different packages available for any type of event including Birthday Parties, Corporate Functions, Schools, Nursing Homes, Church Events, and More! Our shows are perfect for children (Moana Themed Parties also available!) and Adults. We are well known for also bringing the Aloha Spirit to Colorado by performing for our Annual Lei Day Celebration held in May or June. This has been our 11th year and going strong! Make sure you inquire about our 1940’s and 50’s Themed R***e “Passport to Paradise”.
Kalama also specializes in Polynesian Dance Classes every Saturday in Aurora, CO held at Dance Scene Studios. Classes include Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced Tahitian Dance 7-8am, Hula Dance Classes 8-9am, Drumming and Fire Knife Classes 9-10am, and Kids Classes 10-11am. Classes are for Men, Women, and Children. Online classes are available at dancewithaiwa.com as well as our new platform Raq’s Online (coming soon Summer 2018).
We are proud to present Kalama’s Fire Performances (Kalama means ”Flaming Torch”). Most all of Kalama’s Professional Polynesian Dancers are also fire performers. We are available to do full fire shows including the Fire Knife Dance, Fire Poi Dance, Fire Fans, Fire Staff, Fire Fans as well as LED shows.
We perform every month at Adrift Tiki Bar and Grill for the Last Sunday Luau All-You- Can —Eat Buffet $25 with live performances from Kalama. Check us out at Adrift for Surf’s Up Wednesday‘s as well as Dance Classes on Saturday’s in the Summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day in the outside patio at Adrift.
