I reached there around 12:50pm Bahrain time and I was checked by the security.
then I lived everything at the security check point except my documents only allowed me to take inside so I went to counter 2 to scan all my documents and I was ask to pay the visa fee in dollars or Bahrain dinars. one mistake thing I did was I didn't have cash on me so I told them I only have debit card on me so if it will be accepted then said why didn't bring cash ain't we sent you a message on that I said yes. then said Wait for me after he went inside and come back to my bro you have only 30 minutes to go cash the money and come back I said OK I make quickly and ask the security where is ATM machine they show me I run quickly and cash the money come back but that time I was not check again
So I went to counter 2 again and said wait after 3 minute I was called to counter 1 to pay then after 5 minutes I was called counter 3 for my interview here it's goes

C=am going to approved your visa congratulations but take your original documents with your paid receipt and live the passport with me after 2 to 3 weeks you will come for it after the visa is been stamp. take this card sometimes it delays so you can give us a call Any question for me.
M=yes and I ask his name and ask about they will email me or will call me for my passport and also ask can I travel outside Bahrain he said nop after you receive your passport I then thank him again then went for my belongings from the security. Credit to almighty Allah (God) and "wofoytv" and all the Dv selectees

My interview was rescheduled to 20th March from the 10th of March

Interview Day – 20th March 2025

I arrived at the interview at 6:40am and saw that a queue had already been formed so I joined at 7:00am, we were asked to proceed to the gates. Here I got screened and ushered in. I was then asked to sit under the tent with other applicants for what seemed like an hour

After which, a staff member called us in to join a queue inside the main building. I waited in line until it was my turn to submit my documents (appointment letter and payment slip) at one of the counters.

Document Submission

Note: My relevant documents (birth certificate, school certificates, police report, DS-260 confirmation page) had already been collected on the 10th of March, and I was given another printed appointment letter and a payment slip.
So I only submitted the appointment letter the Accra embassy gave me and the pay in slip.

After submitting my appointment letter and payment slip together with my passport at the counter, I was asked to make payment at the cashier's office and return. After making the payment, I returned the receipt and payment slip to the same counter.

The guy at counter 4 (a Ghanaian, by the way) asked me to take a seat and wait to be called.

I waited for approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, then I heard my name over the PA system, asking me to proceed to Counter 8. There, I met a beautiful Asian Consular Officer.

Interview

CO: Can you state your name and date of birth?
Me: (Answers)

CO: Could you raise your right hand and swear an oath? Do you swear that the information you have provided is true and accurate?
Me: I do.

CO: What is your highest level of education?
Me: (Answers)

CO: When did you graduate?
Me: (Answers)

CO: What was the most challenging course you took in the university?
Me: (Answers)

CO: Why that course?
ME: Explains.

CO: Who taught that course?
ME: Explains.

CO: Where do you currently work?
Me: (Answer s)

CO: What job would you like to do in the US
Me: (Answers)

CO: What will you be doing in the U.S.?
Me: (Answers)

CO: That’s great!

(She hands me a paper about FGM and spoke a little about it.)

CO: I will be approving your visa. Here’s a sheet with information on how to register and collect your printed visa. (Hands it over.)

Me: (Receives the documents and thanks the Consular Officer.)

CO: All the best!
Me: Thank you with a smile 😊

Go ahead and shred the fake WASSCE results and the fake marriage certificate because eiiiiii

Submitting fraudulent documents in support of a visa application is a serious violation that can result in visa ineligibility. The U.S. Department of State maintains stringent screening and security measures to protect the integrity of the U.S. visa system and ensure national security.

When I post updates for DV Lottery, it is a continuous cycle. As one group is waiting for announcement, others from the prior year are attending interviews and almost about to end theirs.

Remember, if you apply in Oct-Nov, the announcement is in May for following year.
