The Legend of Dragoon: Severed Chains!

I know, I know... we all love the distortion sound, the chill music, and the battle intro... but when you have to watch it 1,000 times during every encounter, instant battles feel like... WOW! 😄

Not to mention how smooth the gameplay is and how much time it saves throughout an entire playthrough.

Tales of Phantasia – Fenbeast (Hard) ❄️

Time to obtain the first TRIA Item!

Fenbeast awaits at the end of the Icy Cave, protecting Fenrir's Legacy.
I remember struggling sooo much against this beast in the PS1 version... Has it been nerfed?

Nah... I think I just overleveled by farming enemy drops for my YouTube guide and the Monster Book. 😅
It felt surprisingly easy to take him down without using finishers.
He didn't spam Ice Storm too much either... luck, maybe?

Well... on to the next challenge. The Tower of Flames awaits! 🔥

Palomides the Executioner...

The first end of the Road to Stocke... and the first bad ending node, without even realizing it.

That 17K hit... uff! 😅 I remember my first playthrough, waiting for Stocke to do something awesome, but...
..nope. Time to run away and change the timeline!

I 've been overthinking trying to find a good reel format for Nintendo 3DS games, but I think I've finally got the hang of showing both screens whenever it's necessary. That should make it much easier to showcase future games.

Considering how many 3DS games I love,and the fact that I'm already halfway through Radiant Historia,expect plenty of reels coming soon!

🥵🥵🔥 Ufff...

Velvet's finishers are soooo satisfying!

Just practicing some combos in Tales of Berseria.

My kid is still getting the hang of Rokurou, but he'll get there. 😅

Playing Tales of Berseria in co-op is sooo much fun! We'll probably give 3-player co-op a try once Eizen joins the party!

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

Hey! Don't come raining on my parade by saying, "Not all 100 heroes are playable..." 😆
Blacksmiths and crafters are heroes too, you know? ⚒️

As a lifelong Suikoden fan, I can't believe I let this one sit in my backlog for two years. But the time has finally come!
The spiritual successor to one of my favorite RPG series? Yeah... I couldn't ignore it forever.

I'll be starting several new games this month as I make some additions to my workflow, and this one was an easy choice.
Let's see if this gem lives up to the legacy. And can we talk about that art? It's absolutely 🤯

And nope, don't start crying, retro JRPG lovers! 😂 There´s a lot for you next week.
I'll always have a massive variety of Final Fantasy and old-school JRPG reels coming your way.
But... I can't keep burning through my 100K+ view bangers while Facebook is still taking its sweet time with my content monetization. I gotta eat you know?!😅
So for now, let's enjoy a refreshing bath of modern pixels and gorgeous-looking games while we wait...

The Legend of Dragoon: Severed Chains! 🎮

Well, I thought I was going to wait for the 4K texture pack... but... naaaaah! 😂
That just gives me another reason to replay this game in the future!

Here are some of this version's features for anyone interested in installing it.

In the graphics settings, you'll find resolutions up to 4K, along with several widescreen 3D options that improve the visuals and make character movement feel much smoother.

All you need to do is visit the official Severed Chains link (in the first comment). Make a copy of your original PS1 discs in ISO or BIN format and place them in the mod folder. Then, simply double-click the launcher, and it will do the rest.

With these new settings and refreshed visuals, I'm ready to share my journey from the very beginning! 🔥

Haha! Time to leave no place unchecked!

Dragon Quest I may have plenty of towns and tiny corners to explore, but every true completionist knows the sacred rule: press X everywhere.

Chests, barrels, crates, sacks, cupboards, hidden corners, and even under the bed—nothing is safe from our relentless treasure-hunting instincts!

Meanwhile, Dhaos (yes, I know... wrong universe, but hear me out) is apparently preparing an expedition to the eastern continent in search of the Legendary Artifacts. Turns out even the otherwordly Lord of Chaos from another universe, understands the irresistible power of shiny loot and missable items.
