Community is key!

This article touches on a critical element of happiness; community. I am all about doing new things, learning & challenging myself, but just as important are the people I encounter along the way. Each new endeavor opens me up to new people that I get to know & work with.

In 1938, Harvard researchers embarked on a decades-long study to find out: What is the secret to a happy life, especially in retirement? They found a common theme about the biggest challenge retirees face that is rarely talked about.

Welcome to Mid-Life Crazy!

Work was my passion for 25 years. What was retirement going to look like? I figured it was better to go a little Mid-Life Crazy rather than have a mid-life crisis. I found inspiration by talking with people who were challenging themselves and trying new things to keep life interesting. No sitting back in a rocking chair for this crowd.
