Time a for a book review!

This is one I really enjoyed because the main character is so relatable. gives us a glimpse at Sandi’s innermost thoughts as she goes on an emotional rollercoaster.

I love the way Shannon does this with all of the characters, not just her main character, so we have a well rounded dynamic. I also really enjoyed the small town feel with the Gilmore Girls vibes.

As far as a murder mystery goes, Shannon adds layers for the reader to navigate in order to figure out who the culprit is. I don’t know about you, but I want to be kept on my toes until the final reveal.

I gave this one five stars and read it more than once already!

This is a book that can absolutely be judged by its cover. A beautifully tragic, emotionally charged story that drew me in and took me back in time to 1942.
