Welcome to update no. 2 đŸŒ·đŸ€

Quite a bit has happened since the last one: my summer somehow turned into one big EMS adventure 🚑, LĂŒ**el was replaced by KrĂŒmel, I found even more ways to volunteer, I’m back for another round of helping students survive A&P, and somewhere along the way I officially made it to one year in Texas đŸ‡ș🇾

International student life is still keeping me busy, but slowly everything is finding its way ✹

I also finally found acceptable Döner, and my plant mom project is
well, let’s just say we’re still fighting đŸ˜‚đŸŒ±

One year ago, I left Germany without knowing where this journey would take me.

This year pushed me to my limits, but it also showed me how much you’re capable of when you’re fighting for a dream.

Not everything went according to plan. Some dreams changed, new ones took their place, and somewhere along the way, I found my passion.

The future is still uncertain—but I guess that’s what makes this adventure so special.

I’m exactly where I’m need to be.

Being an international student isn’t glamorous. It’s lonely sometimes, exhausting most days, and full of uncertainty. There are sacrifices people don’t see, moments where you question everything, and obstacles you never expected.

But if I had to choose again, I would choose this path every single time.

Because I know that growth doesn’t happen inside your comfort zone. It happens when you keep showing up, even when it’s hard.

I’ve learned that dreams don’t come true because they’re easy. They come true because you decide they’re worth fighting for.

If you have a goal that truly matters to you, don’t let fear or setbacks convince you to give up. You are capable of so much more than you think.

Trust the process. Keep going!

Mach weiter!

Sometimes life moves a lot faster than expected 🌾đŸŒșđŸŒ·đŸ’

Between international travel, settling into a new country, figuring out healthcare, studying, volunteering, and trying to keep two very confused cats happy – the last weeks have been a bit chaotic.
But also really exciting ✹

Starting over somewhere new always comes with a mix of challenges, small wins, and a lot of learning along the way.
I’m grateful for the people who support me, the opportunities I’m getting here, and even for the little reminders that things don’t always go as planned (looking at you, car 😅)

For now we’re taking it one step at a time — and yes, the cats are slowly forgiving me for the flight ✈ 🐈 🐈‍⬛
