is progressing toward a late 2026 completion of the $500 million Texas Capitol Complex Phase II project — delivered in partnership with the Texas Facilities Commission and architect

The expansion adds two new state office buildings, underground parking and the final block of the Texas Capitol Mall, helping consolidate agencies currently spread across leased offices into centralized, state-owned facilities just blocks from the Capitol.

With nearly 900,000 manhours logged to date, crews have excavated up to 78 feet below grade, placed 149 foundation piers and poured more than 90,000 cubic yards of concrete — all within one of Austin’s most historic and highly visible corridors.

In Pharr, Texas, one of the nation’s busiest border regions, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is nearing completion on the I-2/I-69C Interchange Project, a critical upgrade to improve traffic flow for local commuters and cross-border trade.

Led by the Dragados USA - Pulice Construction, Inc. Joint Venture, this 7.8-mile design-build project is helping relieve congestion, support regional growth, and keep goods moving smoothly through the Rio Grande Valley.

To complete the $301 million Irving Interchange project in the City of Irving, Texas, near Dallas, general contractor Webber, LLC, utilizes many crews, cranes, and drill rigs throughout the 9.6-mile corridor. The project includes reconstruction of interchanges at State Highway (SH) 183, SH 114, Loop 12, and Spur 482. Designed to ease congestion, the Irving Interchange project is funded by the Texas Clear Lanes initiative. A new sanitary sewer line in McKinney is making use of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe in a project to help protect a nearby lake as well as reduce future maintenance. The project's new sanitary sewer line will connect the city's existing system to a large, new housing development site with multiple trunk lines totaling 21,000 linear feet. Because of the long expanse of pipeline, installation starts deep to avoid a lift station and continues at an average depth of 25 feet. Aiming to improve traffic flow and safety, TxDOT and J Lee Milligan have undertaken a bridge replacement project along about four miles of the Interstate 40 corridor in Amarillo. The approximately $50.4 million project entails replacing six bridges, built as part of the original interstate construction with new bridges that are longer than the original structures to accommodate the addition of Texas turnarounds at the intersections.
