🎬 to where it all began!
Shred Productions started with a handful of friends, a first apartment, and a story that needed to be told 🎬
After Diana was our very first short film! Written, directed, shot, and produced by co-founder Joshua Martinez, it was made with the help of family, friends, and a team willing to figure things out as they went. It was filmed in the first apartment Joshua Martinez and our production designer/co-founder Sabrina Raquel Martinez shared as newlyweds, a place that became both home and haunted house.
After returning from his time in the Army, co-founder Derek Tilt stepped in front of the camera to bring David to life. Behind the scenes, Sabrina had the chance to transform Diana into something unforgettable, spending hours creating the creature through hair, makeup, and practical effects.
Looking back at these photos, we’re reminded that independent filmmaking has never been about having the biggest budget. It’s about trusting each other, getting creative, and building something you’ll always be proud of!
After Diana wasn’t just our first film, it was the beginning of Shred Productions
