Nashville Hot Chicken in downtown Chicago on Michigan Ave 🍗🔥 CrimsonCoward

I was invited into Crimson Coward to try out different menu items, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.

I played it safe with the Medium heat since it was my first visit (bc every place wants to have a different definition of “spicy), and it ended up being the perfect amount of heat for me.

Everything is halal and cooked to order, so expect a bit of a wait during peak dinner hours.

I already have an excuse to go back because I NEED to try the loaded mac and cheese. 🧀

It’s located in the Loop and is bit out of the way for me typically, but if you’re already downtown and want a quick (and spicy) bite, this is the place for you!

Summer Specials + Tulum Patio Vibes in Chicago 🌴☀️Costera 🌮🍹

I was invited to check out Costera Cocina’s brand new Summer Special! Rotating daily throughout the week, these specials are the perfect excuse to come back daily (summermaxxing af):

🍹 Monday: $10 margaritas
🌮 Tuesday: $15 taco trios
🍷 Wednesday: $10 sangria
🦪 Thursday: $2 oysters & $9 palomas

I was shocked by how much I loved the vegan chorizo taco because I’m usually a carne asada girly. Add in the spicy marg (which we absolutely ordered a couple rounds of), and this was such a perfect summer evening.

Located right in the heart of Fulton Market, Costera Cocina has one of the best patios for people watching and soaking up the perfect Chicago summer vibes.

Roman-style pizza has landed in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago, and it’s coming from the owner behind La Boulangerie & Co 🍕 at Retro Pizza 🍕

The crust is everything you could want and need: crispy, airy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Their dough is made fresh from scratch and even contains less gluten than your typical pizza (shout out to my gluten intolerant baddies with absolutely zero self control!!)

Retro Pizza is also open in the AM serving pastries and coffee to fuel your day. ☕️
