Golf is an interesting sport. For me it ticks all the boxes. It rewards you for: patience, creativity, perseverance, tempo / timing. And the results are objective ( it’s a number ). And a nice contrast to music in that sense. There’s also good breaks and bad breaks, and no do-overs ( unless you hit it out of bounds! ) committing to a plan and carrying out with conviction is crucial. It doesn’t hurt that you’re outside and get a million steps in. ( I generally walk every round unless carts are required ) Over the weekend I played a tournament with Central Texas Golf Association ( CTGA ) at Roy Kizer. Shout out course is in awesome shape. I played my personal best round of golf to date and apparently the lowest in CTGA history ( I think dating back to the 90s?? I’m not sure ) with a -6 65. 6 birdies and the rest pars. It was a surreal day. Excited to hopefully build off of what I’ve learned and keep the good golf going. Finished it off the day a fun little Ryder Cup watch hang at the house. Nice win for the euros and good fight on the last day for the Americans. Not mad at the result 😜👌The range video is me the day before maybe “finding something” stick twirl slagging fully warranted
