DizSpartan Photography

DizSpartan Photography Texas-based photographer with a passion for capturing beauty in the everyday. From street scenes to landscapes.

Inspired by light, color, and texture, I aim to spark joy and curiosity through my lens. I was raised in the Chicagoland area, but about seven years ago, I moved to Texas, where I now live just outside Austin. I've been fascinated with photography for as long as I can remember. I love capturing the everyday moments, finding beauty in what others might overlook. I’m drawn to color, textures, light,

and shadow—always looking for that perfect interplay. I believe in immersing myself in the environment to capture something truly authentic. Through my photography, I hope to inspire others to slow down and find beauty in their own everyday lives.

Foto Automatica

This photo booth was never meant to be charming. It was built for ID cards and passports. Straightforward. Functional. No romance intended. Somewhere along the way, they became something else entirely. Now they are an iconic stop for a souvenir, a total misuse that somehow turned into a tradition. Black and white film, a single small stool, and just enough space that fitting two people inside feels like a terrible game of Tetris. For 2€, you walk away with a thin strip of film. Slightly awkward. Slightly imperfect. A small, honest keepsake from Florence.

Where It All Began
This was my first time in Lucca. I had never been before, and I was both eager and a little anxious to finally stand in the place my family came from. As we walked through the city, our guide shared stories and small details that made my mom stop and say, “that’s why our family does that.” Hearing those connections come together, piece by piece, mattered more than the gaps in what we didn’t know. It was a connection we felt deeply, one that made Lucca feel personal in a way I didn’t expect.
