✨️ Houston born R&B singer/songwriter Ni****ne's emerging track "Running" (2019) reached 37 million streams on Spotify. They recently moved back to Austin with a new found sense of focus and drive

✨️ Their band debuted at Blakchyl's November Tiny Cookout show

✨️ Our holiday episode celebrates Austin Hip-Hop history. Chuk Roberts is credited as the first local rapper to obtain a major label record deal at Pendulum/EMI

✨️ He relocated to Houston, and became embedded in the culture and community there. Like Roberts, his peer Erika "Mz Dank" Sodie also relocated. She is widely recognized for co-founding the pioneering Austin teen Hip-Hop group "Cooly Girls" alongside friends and family

✨️ Terrany "Tee-Double" Johnson is at the turning point of the first and second generation of local Hip-Hop. In our interview the three discuss their impact, how they navigated that, and current moves

🎶 Papa Chuk will soon release a new project coming in the first quarter of the new year. We hear one of his first hits 1994's "Desolate One" and a recent collaboration between him and Mz Dank "Hole Up". We also hear Mz Dank's 2017 "UNDENIABLE"

🎁 Tomorrow, December 16th, RichesArt Gallery will be delivering toys at Zavala Elementary. Community organizer Marvis "The Middleman" Dixon has collaborated with the gallery on a Toy Drive for several years. He joins us in our most recent episode to give us more details. DM to ask about donating

🎮 Game Developer Kamau Vassall also visits with .7 radio host Wyldthang and speaks to the importance of inspiring the next generation of creatives. Kamau is currently working on a new project called "Gravity's Edge"
