The proliferation of "fake news" - and its embrace by readers (knowingly or unknowingly) - is both frightening and dangerous. Where you get your news matters.

Many of those sites are targeted to swing states — a clear sign that they're designed to influence politics.

A great example of how a consumer can get a company's attention with social media - and how a company can/should be using social media to react. Good for the brand, great for Tux and his human - who live in Austin. 🐱

There's always room to grow professionally. Last week I went through spokesperson training held by Dairy MAX for board members of the Texas Association of Dairymen, a client. After more than 35 years as an either a reporter or PR professional, you might not think I had anything left to learn. But brushing up on communications skills - even if you are a communicator - is always beneficial (especially when you're in front of a scary camera - and Joan!).
