One thing I've learned: Indulge a little and treat yourself!

When organizing your trip, reflect on what matters most to you and your family. Identify your goals and aspirations, and then splurge on the things that will make your journey truly unforgettable, whether it's upscale accommodations, guided tours, or exceptional experiences...... like visiting a winery where the owner cooks his special paella in his home and then serenades your group after lunch.

A message from our volcano Guides on Mt Etna:

- Yesterday Mt Etna gave us one of its big shows ... and we enjoyed it in complete safety and in compliance with the rules.

We know that some images can be impressive, but often what seems close is actually very far away - and the media prefers a sensational narrative -
Our job is to protect, guide and make you experience the volcano with awareness and safety.

During today’s paroxysmal event, a portion of the South-East summit crater (which overlooks the southern slope of Etna) collapsed, generating a pyroclastic flow inside the Valle del Leone (which overlooks the Valle del Bove) on the eastern slope of Etna, an unfrequented area largely off-limits to access, given the danger of potential events.

Thanks to those who experienced this extraordinary day with us today. Etna spoke and we listened to it, from a safe place -

We would like to add that we did not cancel any excursions yesterday, and also the clients scheduled on the excursion today confirmed that they wanted to do it, proving that through the screen the perception of facts can appear very different than it actually is.

Christmas time in Germany and Austria, what could feel more festive? Glühwein, festive atmosphere and music, local crafts and food.. what better way to buy gifts and get into the holiday spirit?! Each cruise line has their own festive experiences on board as well.

I have been dying to go on a Christmas market river cruise and think have a small group along would make it that much more enjoyable.
Can I talk anyone into one for 2026, beginning of Dec?!

I am loving this cruise line and this itinerary!

Explora is a new luxury cruise line with that luxury hotel feel! They go off the beaten path to locations you've been wanting to visit but never have time to fit into the itinerary.

The options that particularly excite me on this one, is the stops in Croatia and Brindisi. While it doesn't explore some of the lesser known islands of Greece, I feel like that might be best experienced on a smaller yacht cruise or charter.

Gather some friends and lets make it a small group adventure!

The afternoon was spent discovering the vibrant spirit of Sevilla.
The city's rich Moroccan heritage is evident in its stunning tile work, making it a truly captivating destination.
The evening included a tapas tour after a scenic boat ride to Triana.

Quick 24 hrs in Madrid!

First of all, none of our group wanted to leave the Rosewood Villa Magna. The small touches, the delicious lunch and the large luxurious rooms were such a treat!

Quick tour around the city and then onto a traditional flamenco show with dinner.
A couple notes.... this show has won many awards along with its gastronomy and was/is visited by many celebrities. Next, keep your eyes peeled on Netflix for one of the sons running Corral de la Morería, flamenco en Madrid as they are putting together a documentary of his life.

We started out the next morning at the Prado museum which was fascinating. I recommend a guide... you may think you would rather just walk through but believe me you will miss so much.
