Year three and it is still producing. I will be repotting it after this season and we will see how long it will keep going. Did I mention how delicious peppers are fresh from the garden? It just tastes so crisp and fresh!

Update on my starter fruit orchard. They are getting the shades because OMG we are at the 3 digit summer weather already...

Update on my starter fruit orchard. They are getting the shades because OMG we are at the 3 digit summer weather already! So a 30% Shade cloth over them will keep them from burning this summer. This was only a temporary set up.

Out of 8 trees, only one did not make it. The bare root Santa Rosa Plum that I bought at HEB did not survive. Before I could plant it, it started to bud and wake up so I guess that was too much stress when it was planted into the ground. Oh well, I will get more trees in the fall.
