This if a little throwback to baby orbs. He was so sick and we didn't know it because he was always so joyful and playful. I love seeing the progress he made from his first few weeks alive to a year later. He has always loved being alive and experiencing all the good things life has to offer.

Little guy put up a big fight to live and I am so thankful we were able to support and care for him. He is the best thing that's ever happen

Really missing Ax today and so grateful Orbit had 3 years with the sweetest big brother I could ever imagine for Orbit to have. I loved seeing the way Axil opened up and though he was a nervous boy, he loved Orbit so much. These are some of my favorite pictures of the two of them.

In the next few days our lives are going to change as we welcome a sweet foster kitty into our home. I've wanted to foster for quite some time and decided to pull the trigger last night. We were immediately matched with a 5 month old orange boy who has had some issues with one of his eyes.

I'm soaking up my one on one time with Orbit knowing it will be different when our little guy comes to live with us.

I am excited to share him with everyone and even more excited to see how loving Orbit will be with our new little guy. Missing Ax but thankful for this opportunity to help a kitty who needs a home!

Missing the big guy quite a bit the last few days. Grief is weird. No dog will ever be able to replace the gentle big brother Axil was to Orbit.

I trusted Ax without a doubt around Orbit. They didn't always snuggle or play together but they shared a bond that I didn't realize was so deep until we lost our sweet Axil.

After Axil passed, I brought Orbit to say goodbye to his brother because he deserved closure too. He groomed him and then laid next to him. I was a total mess seeing this and covering Ax with my tears reminding him I would forever find him in every life time. Having to pull Orbit away from finding his peace with Axil's death was one of the hardest things I've done and I've been through a lot of things in my life.

I miss Axil everyday and I know Orbit does too. Some days are harder than others. I'm so grateful Orbit got to spend 3 years with the most gentle big brother that made a huge impact on so many people.

These are some of my favorite pictures of my boys. They really are the best part of me and I am so grateful I get to be their momma.

It's been very cold and rainy here in Austin and Orbit doesn't quite understand why he can't spend hours a day on the patio as he usually does.

I have made him a cozy heated bed under my desk and also on the couch so he's happy for now. I'm feeling very grateful for the life we both have. I'm so thankful I can provide a safe and cozy home for us. I am also thankful that I get to work from home for the majority of the time.

There's a lot going on in the world and I am focusing on gratitude and loving those people around me because that's all I can do. I hope you and your family are safe. We're so grateful for all the love and support!

Orbit identifies as a certified Austin finance bro now. Patagonia vest sealed the deal. He also ordered a cyber truck and is on the waitlist for a labradoodle.

As a friend described him he is "no spreadsheets, just vibes" and when I asked him if he even knew what a number is he replied, "brooooooo....." and popped a Zyn and walked away.

I'm feeling extra thankful for my boys lately. It's been a hard few weeks - everything's okay. It is just how life is.

Days like today remind me how much I have to live for. This little guy and his brother deserve the best version of me.
