How To Rock A Puff Without DAMAGING YOUR EDGES ☝🏾

I’ve been asked a few times how I always manage to wear puff styles and still keep my edges in tact, so here’s a few things I do, that you can apply;

👉🏾Don’t make your puffs SUPER TIGHT - The most obvious one, but yet people still do it. If you can feel some tension, then it’s too tight.

👉🏾Give your edges a break from CONSTANTLY slicking them with gels - A break will allow your hair some recuperation time.

👉🏾Keep your edges MOISTURISED - Dry edges will eventually break.

👉🏾Be GENTLE when brushing your edges to reduce TENSION - Brushing too hard will eventually damage your hair.

👉🏾Avoid using HARD brushes on your edges - There’s no need to use hard brushes that cause you pain when styling.

👉🏾Use gels that contain moisturising properties - Make sure they don’t contain SHORT CHAIN ALCOHOLS which are drying to the hair.
