Friday dinner means vegan burgers! ๐
We love this delicious and healthy vegan burger by
Check out the recipe ๐
โช๏ธIngredients:
1 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 cup of white onions finely chopped
1/2 cup of Portobello mushrooms finely chopped
1 plant-based egg (flax egg or vegan brand)
1 cups of black beans
3/4 cup of cooked whole wheat rice
3/4 cup of breadcrumbs
1/2 cup of cooked corn
1/4 cup Whole Earth & Sea 100% Fermented Organic Greens (unflavored)
1/3 cup of crumbled vegan feta cheese
3 tbsp of parsley finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
โช๏ธInstructions:
1๏ธโฃ Sauteฬ the onions and the mushrooms in the olive oil until transparent (around 3 minutes) and let cool.
2๏ธโฃ Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix them until well incorporated and season with salt and pepper to taste.
3๏ธโฃ Divide mixture into 5 portions and form each one into a burger shape.
4๏ธโฃ Place burgers in a baking sheet, cover with saran wrap, and place them in the fridge to harden (about 30 minutes)
4๏ธโฃ After the burgers have harden, cook the burgers in a frying pan until golden brown on each side (about 4 minutes per side)
5๏ธโฃ Form into a hamburger with your favorite toppings. Suggestions: avocado, onions and tomatoes ๐ฅ
